Black Vault – Death Obsessed (Digital/CD Album – Dunkelheit Produktionen)

Black Vault, a Danish occult industrial and death-industrial project on the German label Dunkelheit Produktionen, released their second album Death Obsessed on March 1, 2025. The five-track record, recorded between 2023 and 2024 and mixed at Hex Audio Labs, blends dark ambient, industrial, noise, and ritual music with spoken-word samples to create a nihilistic soundscape. Following their 2023 debut Hymns To The Great Devourer on the same label, Death Obsessed presents a carefully constructed but occasionally chaotic listening experience that draws the listener into a world of ruin, though the reviewer notes the absence of an absolute climax. The album received a 7.5/10 rating.
