Magic Wands release ‘Guardians’, second single from the 2027 album ‘Sun Kiss

Magic Wands released the single “Guardians” on October 2, 2026 through Metropolis Records as the second track from their 2027 album “Sun Kiss.” The Los Angeles dream-pop duo of vocalists and guitarists Dexy and Chris Valentine describe the song as reflecting on a period that no longer feels real. “Guardians” follows the first single “Diamond Rain” from August 2026. The release continues Magic Wands’ output that began with the album “Cascades” in October 2025, including the January 2026 collaboration “Sacred Mirrors” with Psychedelic Furs guitarist John Ashton, the April “Wishing Well” EP, and a June remixes EP. The band formed in Nashville in 2008 and relocated to Los Angeles, blending dream-pop with shoegaze, post-punk and goth textures.
