Kontravoid releases new album Sound Of The Void

Kontravoid released his album “Sound Of The Void” on 2 October 2026 via Artoffact Records. The ten-track release follows his 2024 album “Detachment” and features coldwave, EBM and electro. Three advance tracks—”Without,” “Mortal,” and “Chances”—were released before the full album. The record is available digitally, on CD, and as a clear-vinyl first pressing on Bandcamp. Kontravoid is the solo project of Canadian musician Cameron Findlay, based in Los Angeles. Findlay previously played drums with Crystal Castles in 2007 and 2008 and was a founding member of Toronto synth-pop band Parallels. His self-titled Kontravoid debut came out in 2012 on Minimal Wave. He has toured North America alongside Buzz Kull and wears a mask on stage as part of the project’s identity.
