Execunit – Prophecy (Digital/CD Album – Town And Towers Records)

Execunit is a Swedish electronic/industrial synthpop project founded in 2022 by Andreas Rimheden, who previously worked with Morticians and Eternity Range. The project’s debut album “Prophecy,” released October 16, 2026 on Town And Towers Records, explores a dystopian theme of machines dominating humanity. Described as Electro-Pop or ‘Robotik-Pop’, the album draws influence from Kraftwerk while establishing its own identity through a rich sonic palette combining dreamy passages with danceable sections and darker undertones. The reviewer notes similarities to Die Form and Jean-Michel Jarre, with vocoder vocals reinforcing the robotic aesthetic. The album received a rating of 8½, praised as a successful debut filled with sonic gems.
