Pixies Announce First-Ever Vinyl Release of “Complete B-Sides: 1988-97”

Pixies are reissuing Complete B-Sides: 1988-97, a compilation of 19 tracks from their influential 4AD era (1988–1991), arriving June 26, 2026. Originally released on CD in 2001 during the band’s hiatus, this marks the first official vinyl pressing, available in double black and clear vinyl formats alongside double CD editions. The tracks have been newly remastered by Kevin Vanbergen from original analogue tapes. The three-vinyl sides contain the original tracklist, with the fourth side featuring six bonus live recordings from later Pixies single releases, including material from the 1997 Debaser reissue. Designer Chris Bigg created new artwork using previously unreleased photographs from Simon Larbalestier’s archive, honoring late visual director Vaughan Oliver. The reissue accompanies the recent Live at the BBC compilation reissue, continuing Pixies’ 40th anniversary celebrations.
