A Split-Second, Dirk Ivens and The Invincible Spirit to headline EBM night in Cologne

An EBM night at Club Volta in Cologne on March 27, 2027 will feature A Split-Second, Dirk Ivens, and The Invincible Spirit, each performing full-length headline sets. A Split-Second, founded in Belgium in 1985 by Marc Ickx, shaped early EBM and the Belgian new beat movement with tracks including “Flesh,” “Rigor Mortis,” “Firewalker” and “On Command.” Dirk Ivens will perform material spanning four decades across his projects DIVE, The Klinik, Absolute Body Control and Blok 57, accompanied by Jan Dewulf of Mildreda. The Invincible Spirit, Thomas Lüdke’s project founded in 1986, built its reputation on the debut single “Push!” The venue opens at 18:00 with the first set at 19:00. Tickets are available now.
