Blood-Soaked Cannibal Holocaust Ultimate Edition Devours 4K UHD This November

Grindhouse Releasing will release a six-disc Cannibal Holocaust Ultimate Edition on 4K UHD on November 24, 2026. The set features a new 4K restoration from original camera negatives in Dolby Vision, presented across three cuts: the original uncensored theatrical version, a new Special Edition with the film-within-a-film footage in its native aspect ratio, and a never-before-released version. It includes an animal cruelty-free viewing option, audio remixes, and extensive extras: two commentaries, a new feature-length documentary by Calum Waddell, interviews with director Ruggero Deodato and cast members, a 100-page book, a remastered soundtrack CD with unreleased tracks, archival materials, and over two and a half hours of hidden content. The restoration was produced by Bob Murawski, Oscar-winning editor of The Hurt Locker, and premiered theatrically at Beyond Fest before select North American engagements. The slipcover edition is limited.
