Mortiis lands ‘Ghosts of Europa’ album on Prophecy Productions on 26 June 2026

Norwegian electronic rock artist Mortiis will release “Ghosts of Europa” on 26 June 2026 through Prophecy Productions. The eight-track album was developed over six years (2020-2026) across multiple sessions in Fredrikstad, Norway, with co-production by Stephan Groth and mixing by Sean Beavan at The Grey Room in California. Originally conceived as a collaboration with Apoptygma Berzerk’s Groth exploring Berlin-school electronic music and Tangerine Dream influences, the project evolved into a solo effort retaining those aesthetic traces. The album features contributions from various guest artists and Thorsten Quaeschning of Tangerine Dream on additional synths. Extensive physical formats are available, including ultra-deluxe box sets, vinyl variants, CD editions, and cassettes. Mortiis will support the release with four Australian dates in November 2026.
