New Order is reissuing their 1994 compilation The Best Of New Order and its 1995 sequel The Rest Of New Order as an expanded collection arriving July 17th via Warner Music. The 4CD deluxe edition pairs both original albums with two bonus discs containing previously unreleased remixes and rare mixes from producers including Richie Hawtin, Dave Clarke, and Armand Van Helden. Unreleased tracks comprise a full-length “1963-94,” Sub Sub’s remix of “Spooky,” and alternate Richie Hawtin and “Eschreamer” versions. Vinyl editions include a blue-vinyl 2LP remaster of The Best Of and a pink-vinyl 3LP edition of The Rest Of, both mastered at Abbey Road Studios. Separately, Joy Division and New Order were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026, with ceremonies scheduled for November in Los Angeles, though bassist Peter Hook stated he will not reunite with the classic lineup for the event.
