VÍZ sets ‘Ég/Üres’ album for 20 November release on Asadun Alay Records

VÍZ, the solo project of Hungarian-Transylvanian musician Réka Csiszér, will release the album “Ég/Üres” on 20 November 2026 through Asadun Alay Records on LP and digital. The album closes a trilogy begun with her first two VÍZ albums and features Radwan Ghazi Moumneh of Jerusalem In My Heart on rababa, bass and vocals. Built around “a sense of displacement,” the record draws on Székely folk melodies from Csiszér’s Transylvanian heritage and features her singing throughout in Hungarian. Recording sessions took place at Montreal’s Hotel2Tango studio and various European locations over seven years. The album incorporates fragments of earlier VÍZ recordings alongside folk material, with contributions from CECILIA and birdsong recorded in her grandmother’s garden. Singles “Vörös Folyó” b/w “Amoutu” and “Szerelem” preceded the release.
