Industrial solo artist Staytus, the project of Arizona-born producer Sam Grundemann, has signed with Cleopatra Records and announced the digital single “S + M” arriving May 29, 2026. The track blends industrial, electronic, and nu-metal influences while exploring themes of emotional attachment, separation, and the concept of twin flame reconnection. Grundemann describes the song as occupying the space between loss and persistent longing. The accompanying video is directed by Vicente Cordero of Industrialism Films, known for work with Skold and Stabbing Westward. Staytus previously released two albums: “Disease Of The Mind” (2022) and “Wasteland Of Broken Hearts” (2023), followed by several 2025 singles featuring collaborators including Sean Beavan and Jeff Friedl.
