Soisong, the experimental electronic collaboration between late Coil/Throbbing Gristle member Peter Sleazy Christopherson and Ivan Pavlov (CoH), is releasing a limited hardcover history book on May 22, 2026. The 160-page, faux-leather bound edition is restricted to 222 numbered copies and compiles the project’s documentation through email correspondence, photographs, manifestos, and archival materials spanning the late 2000s. Two CDs accompany the book: a 2007 Tokyo concert featuring CoH and The Threshold House Boys Choir, and a new solo album by Julio Ecclesiast, the trumpet player from Soisong’s final album xAj3z. The Bangkok-based project, active from 2007 until Christopherson’s death in 2010, blended Pavlov’s computer compositions with Christopherson’s vocal treatments and acoustic instrumentation. This release continues documenting Soisong’s archival legacy through a multimedia format reflecting the project’s experimental ethos.
